A 67 year old female known diabetic patient presented with weight loss, leg swelling with cellulitis, fever and inguinal lymphadenopathy.
PET scan : FDG avid enlarged lymph nodes noted in bilateral inguinal region (right more than left).
Largest right inguinal lymph node measures 3.6 x 1.9 cms with SUV max of 3.1; likely infectious.
Left inguinal lymph nodes show low-grade FDG uptake; largest measure 2.4 x 1.1 cm.
Non FDG avid subcentimetric bilateral external iliac and para-aortic lymph nodes seen.
No evidence of metabolically active disease elsewhere in the body.
Right inguinal lymph node excision biopsy performed.

26 year female present with abdominal pain, post prandial vomiting and weight loss.
CT abdomen revealed a circumferential, irregular contrast enhancing nodular wall thickening in the mid-ileum with multiple necrotic enlarged mesentric lymph nodes and underwent a radical segmental small bowel resection for the same.
Grossly an exophytic mass measuring 6.0 x 5.0 x 4.5 cms was seen in the ileum.
